May 21: Church Building Closed - Victoria Day

Sunday May 27: Song Sunday, 10:30 am

Sunday June 3: No worship at FGUC this morning. FGU folk will be travelling to Knox United Church for a 10 am worship service.

As a congregation we will be traveling to Knox United Church on June 3 to worship with our brothers and sisters of the United Church Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. It’s a chance to see the United Church from all over and participate in worship that will be creative and lively. Transportation from the church will be arranged leaving at 9:00 am (parking is very poor at Knox when there are many worshippers). Please indicate by return e-mail or by calling the church if you will be joining with FGUC friends to travel on the bus together so we know the number of seats we need to provide. There will be no service will at FGUC on that Sunday.

June 10: 10:30 am Worship is followed bySuper Sandwich and Salad Sunday Paul Hagerman leads worship, with special guest Addmore Makunara, head of Christian Care in Zimbabwe. For lunch, we'll supply the lemonade and watermelon while attendees are asked to bring sandwiches or salads to share.

Sunday June 17: Worship at 10:30 am; Communion - all are welcome at our table

Saturday Oct 13: Old Fashioned Craft Sale - 9 am - 3 pm Just a few spaces remaining - contact church office for registration form or call 475-1586.

On Sunday morning the urn is ready half an hour before worship!

Stroll in early to visit.
Chat with neighbours.
Establish the reality of community.
If you wish, take your cup with you into worship (make sure it has a safe place when you want to start clapping hands or dancing!).
Have a second cup after worship, along with cookies or cake or fruit or veggies, or the nibbles of the day.

During the week, the coffee pot is always on. Drop in for a visit.
