Way to go FGUC with Churcho’rama on August 24!
We really stepped it up with our coffee time snacks!

We need to do it again on August 31!
Let’s see if we can do as well or better on the 31st!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Snacks: We need donations of sandwiches (we need more sandwiches than last week, they ran out right away), pickles, dainties, and other tasty treats.

  • Kitchen Crew: A couple of volunteers to prepare iced tea and lemonade, and to make the tables look inviting.  (Thank you to the kitchen crew from last week.  Everything was all cleaned up by 12:30).

  • Ushers: Friendly faces to welcome visitors, hand out nametags, and help everyone feel at home.  (Ushers need to come earlier.  By 10:00 we already had a lot of people here.  Ushers need to be in place by 9:45 please.)

Let’s make our Sunday hospitality shine. Together, we can make Churcho’rama at FGUC truly SUPER!

If you can’t join us for Sunday worship in person, then join us virtually on Zoom:
We are using the same link every Sunday.

August 31 will be Helen Bergen’s last Sunday as our music director.
I’m sure we will all be full of gratitude to her for her decades of love and dedication.
If you haven’t written in the dedication book for her yet, then this Sunday will be your last chance.
If you won’t be in church on Sunday, then email the church office with your sentiment and I’ll put it in the book for you.

Our new music director – Lee Stubbe (his last name rhymes with cub) will be at church on August 31.  Let’s show him a warm welcome!
